...That reminds me: Madoka peeps need to run heart games more (or at all) Their world would make for awesome heart games!

Mostly Lelouch has been in mom mode, and also talking some with Lloyd to try to figure wtf to do with the squirrel. Whisper's on hiatus and Beato hasn't popped in yet. But Lulu herded all the non-Ratatosk cats inside for hot baths and tea '^' and I suspect is facepalming a lot on the inside.

What about Emerald?

Mage and Stealth are taking care of everyone. Natsume was mostly confused, as of last night, but someone might have told him what's up since. Poor guy.

Also, Mage is totally not caring. Really. Really.

And now, apparently Ratatosk just got a quest from Jabberwock to beat up someone on Emerald. ...Which, I think, will ensure Roxas doesn't die in future games and thus doesn't take Ven with him, or something like it. Which should make for fun nervous breakdowns. Mwahaha!

I think Lightning volunteered to be the Emerald in question. SOB.

Yeah....I think that got put on hold for a bit to doublecheck stuff with Emerald, but. It's basically a quest for ensuring that if Roxas dies in one of Jabberwock's games, Ven doesn't. Roxas would still die though.

oh god hahaha when Homerun finds out about the last game she's gonna be so relieved Coral made it out okay (while simultaneously hating herself for not being there for her teammates)

ANYWAY there's an ODD MIX going on with Homura re: Madokafeelings. Part of her is still tripped up by the Canon Issues--her guilt and sense of distance stemming from all her time resets. This is especially reinforced by the fact that she knows Madoka is still a magical girl. She hasn't kept her promise yet, and that gnaws at her really badly sometimes. BUT, at the same time, Aather has afforded her a chance to really talk with Madoka in a way that she hasn't since the earlier timelines. She's been able to regain some of that sense of closeness! (And every time Madoka does or says a totally Madoka-esque thing, Homura's reminded of why she fell for her in the first place, heh.) So it's become this weird and awkward thing where she has conversations with Madoka that make her really happy and reassure her that things might finally, really work out . . . but then the lingering guilt trips her up and she ends up missing another chance to talk about how she really feels and stuff like that. She's getting kind of frustrated at herself over this, hahaha.

oh god uh another question . . . what other teams could you see your two doing well on?

Roxas would have actually done well on a lot of teams, provided they were the sort to reach out to their new members and had a strong sense of team/identity. You just might have gotten a very different Roxas, if he'd wound up on, say, Peridot. He was pretty malleable, as I apped him. As he is now? Tiger's Eye. Sapphire could work.

Madoka needed to go on a specific sort of team. Not too ruthless, and not too 'fuck off and do their own thing.' Leaning toward dere, if at all possible. Pink teams; blue teams. Amethyst could have worked, in a weird sort of way. (And then, you'd have Euphie and mini-Euphie)

Ditto for Homura?

He is mine! And he was settling in just fine until Jabberwock's game, which severely unsettled him. He went from feeling like Heliodor was a GOOD TEAM that could MAKE A NAME FOR THEMSELVES to realizing that they actually have wildly different values and for some people those values mean murder is easier than drawing a picture. He also thinks he may be the only sane adult on his team, and he's pretty sure he's not being a very effective one. On the other hand, he really developed a bunch of attachments (to Heliodor and Chuck) very quickly, so there's at least somewhere for his reactions to go.

Why'd you app Madoka?

Because I wanted a character who was open and honest with their emotions and who'd easily make new CR. Roxas is *honest* but frequently reticent and/or doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to emotional things. Shion was friendly, but also a lying liar that lies.

Also, I love Madoka and her canon lots, and Aather had all the canonmates for her. I was feeling the squee, so I knew I'd have a good time playing her.

Reverse for both of yours? And possibly also Inara and Chance. Basically, ramble as much or as little as you like.
