[Okay, so here's what went down. At some point, Roxas took a bad memory that dovetailed badly with some of the other stuff going on in his head. Ven felt something go really wrong and contacted Dream and the rest of you ASAP. Dream allowed an emergency heart game to take place, giving you all an additional task as a quest:

Everyone will get pens and stickers that they will write on. Each person running will have five stickers that they have to use to try to identify something in the heart. It can be used on people, objects, the air, whatever rolls for you, so, for example, "I am going to put this sticker on Roxas, because he is clearly Roxas" or "This stone must be a stone and not a representation of his deep, weighing sense of guilt".

Guesses can be whatever the character thinks the object is. There is no limit to guesses! The catch is that the sticker will shrivel up if their guess is not correct. They cannot use the sticker again if this happens. If it is correct, then it will remain on the object with no effects whatsoever upon Roxas' heart. (Halfway answers which you might run into get shriveled up but don't come off nor do they reveal the whole message of what they were supposed to be.) If they want to use another sticker on the same object . . . No deal. Likewise, people cannot guess on the same object that someone else has.]

You fall into the heart amid a cacophony of words. Some of the voices are familiar, belonging to Roxas or others you may know. Others belong to strangers.

“It's the only control we have, so we take it”

“Did you want to have your head cut off?”

“Once, there was a knight.”

“He made me feel like I had a heart.”

“I- I can’t...”

“Let’s play a game”

“I couldn’t have saved him anyway.”

“Are we okay with doing this?”

“Why? Why do I exist?”

“This puppet will have to play her part.”

The voices fade, and you are dumped unceremoniously on a transparent floor made of solid glass. Spreading out beneath the glass is the vista of a warm, sunlit town. But none of that warmth reaches you here. The room you’re in carries the chill of empty places, where people may live if they have no choice, but don’t exactly hurry to return to. The walls and ceiling that make up the room are greyish-white, tall enough to be intimidating.

One of the walls has a small number of hand-drawn pictures hung on it, their color startling against all the white. Another wall looks like it has some words and tally marks scratched into it.

Toward the middle of the room, leaning against a column, stands a blue-haired man in a black coat. There’s a jagged scar shaped like an X criss-crossing his forehead. The expression on his face is serious and vaguely disdainful. “So, you’ve arrived.”

*taking in the room at the glance, focusing on the pictures and words, before responding*

Hey, Isa. Did we keep you waiting?

"No. You were quick enough."

Okay, good. Are you here to brief us?

[his eyes narrow] "What do you already know of the situation?"

[oh will look at those words and pictures in a moment but]

[ISA :O ...wait what is that expression] Yes. Were you...expecting us?

*hands clasped behind his back*

Not a lot. Ven felt something go really badly, bad enough to call Dream in. It's not much of a stretch to guess that a memory started it.

"You are correct. Another oversight on his part: he should have seen it coming.

"Since you are here, I have several missions for you."

[.................well ok I remember Roxas mentioning that Isa was kind of a dick back home, I guess this is a thing]

I would never have done it if I didn't believe he could use the extra help.

"Very well, then. I've work for you to do."

[folding his other hand over his heart]

"I will be sending you on reconnaissance to a number of critical areas. You will observe the situation, and report back to me."

"Your presence here is unnecessary. Still, since you're here, I might as well put you to work."

"You will undertake reconnaissance missions, and report back to me."

What areas? And will you know how to fix them if there's damage there?

I'd say our presence here is plenty necessary. What kinda work? ...What makes you the authority anyway?
