[Okay, so here's what went down. At some point, Roxas took a bad memory that dovetailed badly with some of the other stuff going on in his head. Ven felt something go really wrong and contacted Dream and the rest of you ASAP. Dream allowed an emergency heart game to take place, giving you all an additional task as a quest:

Everyone will get pens and stickers that they will write on. Each person running will have five stickers that they have to use to try to identify something in the heart. It can be used on people, objects, the air, whatever rolls for you, so, for example, "I am going to put this sticker on Roxas, because he is clearly Roxas" or "This stone must be a stone and not a representation of his deep, weighing sense of guilt".

Guesses can be whatever the character thinks the object is. There is no limit to guesses! The catch is that the sticker will shrivel up if their guess is not correct. They cannot use the sticker again if this happens. If it is correct, then it will remain on the object with no effects whatsoever upon Roxas' heart. (Halfway answers which you might run into get shriveled up but don't come off nor do they reveal the whole message of what they were supposed to be.) If they want to use another sticker on the same object . . . No deal. Likewise, people cannot guess on the same object that someone else has.]

*ice is creeping up over Darkside's body, growing and thickening over its arms and legs, leaving its head and back and throat exposed; Josh clenches a fist, and spikes of it rise from the floor to stab into limbs*

gonna stab it in the eye now while that's a thing, a thick bolt of lightning rippling down around his blade*

[what about feathers in the back of the neck.]

[The Darkside is badly hurt, hit by nearly every element all at once: fire, ice, lightning, shockwave, feathers. It seems to be on its last legs. And things in crit can be dangerous...

Just then, there's a flash, and Xion's keybade reappears in her hand, shining with an ethereal light. "It's almost down," she yells. "Just a little more!"]

The Darkside gathers every last bit of energy it has left, and slams its fist into the glass of the platform. The glass shudders beneath your feet- and large patches of it seem to bubble up, glass turning to roiling darkness. The darkness forms into tendrils, reaching for you, trying to drag you under.]

[but really I was going to jump anyway because that's my finisher right now :D hovering in place for a moment, glowing with flame as he charges, and then yelling and whipping his keyblade in a downstroke to send a hail of fireballs to the downed Darkside in front of him]

*holding out his hand to murmur a quiet auric spell, designed to kindle and ignite the Darkside's magic reserves, consuming it with its own power*

Xion dodges around the patches of darkness, determined look on her face. The darkness grabs at her coat, but it cannot hold on to her. Her allies' attacks seem to instinctively miss her. She rushes the Darkside, stabbing her keyblade right below its hole of a heart. Lightning crackles from the keyblade and into the Heartless]

[aaand driving his swords into its back on either side of that heart hole, if he can manage it; whatever part of its head is closest from the Darkside's shoulder, if he can't]

[.... really there's nothing else I can do but more feathers :(]

[All its vulnerabilities targeted, magic spent, the Darkside stops moving. For a moment, it lies there like a mountain. And then, a brilliant light fills the room. It doesn't hurt your eyes, somehow, but the Darkside begins to disintegrate under its glare, blowing away wisp by wisp. With the room lit, you can see six chains stretching out from the platform toward others. They've all been severed at the other end, but now light beams shred through them on this side as well, shattering them into nothingness.

The room's oppressive atmosphere lifts, and the memory replay stops at last.]

[just. catching his breath for a long, long moment]

[and dismissing his armor]
