[Okay, so here's what went down. At some point, Roxas took a bad memory that dovetailed badly with some of the other stuff going on in his head. Ven felt something go really wrong and contacted Dream and the rest of you ASAP. Dream allowed an emergency heart game to take place, giving you all an additional task as a quest:

Everyone will get pens and stickers that they will write on. Each person running will have five stickers that they have to use to try to identify something in the heart. It can be used on people, objects, the air, whatever rolls for you, so, for example, "I am going to put this sticker on Roxas, because he is clearly Roxas" or "This stone must be a stone and not a representation of his deep, weighing sense of guilt".

Guesses can be whatever the character thinks the object is. There is no limit to guesses! The catch is that the sticker will shrivel up if their guess is not correct. They cannot use the sticker again if this happens. If it is correct, then it will remain on the object with no effects whatsoever upon Roxas' heart. (Halfway answers which you might run into get shriveled up but don't come off nor do they reveal the whole message of what they were supposed to be.) If they want to use another sticker on the same object . . . No deal. Likewise, people cannot guess on the same object that someone else has.]

Not a lot. Ven felt something go really badly, bad enough to call Dream in. It's not much of a stretch to guess that a memory started it.

"You are correct. Another oversight on his part: he should have seen it coming.

"Since you are here, I have several missions for you."

Let's hear them.

"I will be sending you on reconnaissance to a number of critical areas. You will observe the situation, and report back to me."

What areas? And will you know how to fix them if there's damage there?

"If there is damage, I expect you to act accordingly. If there is damage you cannot contain, report it to me. As for where - [nods curtly at the wall with the pictures] -that should contain the information you need."

*nods*

The pictures all appear to be drawn in crayon or colored pencil and are quite good. There are six of them in total. One features a redheaded man wreathed in flame. Another, a green-colored man holding his own severed head. The third is a portrait of a blonde woman in an ornate gown, something which might be a leash stretching from her hand. The fourth seems more abstract than the others, torn carefully in half, both halves covered in red color. The fifth seems to be a landscape covered in tiny keys. Lastly, the sixth... You try to look at it, but your eyes seem unable to focus in. It’s housed under a pane of shattered glass, the glass further obscuring its contents.

Well, half of these are pretty obvious.

[staring at them for a few long seconds, where would I be the most needed where would I be the most use]

Guilt and failure and...loss...that's the damage we're looking for... [s-sigh] ...some of these are old too... [he's really mostly murmuring to himself as he examines them with great care]

*nods*

[A brief flash of horrible carnage surrounding you - too brief to get any details, and a pervasive feeling of stunned grief. You can also tell that there's more than one experience in there.]

[shuddering a little and squeezing Josh's hand tighter]
